Mel re-engages students who have “stopped out” and want to finish their degree at CSU. Finish What You Started (FWYS) is a grant that supports these students with the goal of increasing the attainment of post-secondary credentials and degrees for underserved students in Colorado.

Mel has previous experience in academic advising and coaching, disability services, and community engagement. She loves traveling, skiing, house plants, and spending time with her miniature dachshund mix, Timmy.
